AUDREY PIETRE

Training dogs and their humans became a passion of mine after working extensively with veterans who had come back from Afghanistan and Iraq. This inspired me to continue my education in animal behavior and psychology. The bond between people and their dogs is powerful and I want to help you foster that relationship.

I teach you to become a dog trainer and set you and your dog up for success every time. I understand that not every dog learns the same way or responds to cookie-cutter teaching models and that every person learns differently as well. I tailor my classes to your specific needs. With practice, you and your dog will learn to read each other’s body language and you’ll develop a relationship that will last for a lifetime. Through positive re-enforcement, we build the neural networks the right way from the get-go.

Every exercise I coach you through has an off-leash dog in mind, should they jump out of a car or you lose your grip on the leash. The goal is a dog you can trust in all situations—a furry member of the family and not a four-year-old you’ll have to manage for the next 12 years.

My emphasis is animal behaviorism and human psychology.
